My car was equipped with a remote control alarm (Venom). After a year of installation the remote controller became erratic, sometimes functioning sometimes not, sometimes I went around the car to get the right position before it works, until it malfunctioned totally. I try to replace the battery but to no avail. Thinking the remote controller already broke down, I decided to use the spare, and for more than a year I have no problem using it. However, since last week, I encounter similar problem with the first. Was it a problem with the remote controller or the car alarm unit itself? or the transmitter? Please help...thanks.

I have a Chevrolet Impala, and today my car remote stopped working. Should I go to the dealership, or somewhere else, and if it is somewhere else, where?

I have a new Ford Fiesta not even a year old. All of a sudden the car remote does not want to work. However it only gives trouble at my work parking lot. It works perfectly at my home or anywhere else. A new building site with heavy machinery has just recently started right next to my work parking lot. Is this effecting the car remote? What else could be the cause?
